PSB Academy Team Building
Today my whole department left office at
2:15pm and we ahead to
Jurong Sports Complex for our teambuilding - badminton competition!
Hope onto my boss's car - having a hard time to located the sports complex and then again the carpark! Nevertheless, we managed to find after much calling to Fiona.
Changed into my gear and started doing some warm up on the court with my parnter - Val...
It's been ages since I last played badminton (think the last time was 5 - 6 years ago) ... Keep practicing and finally the long waiting competition started! Waited for my turn and there I go...
1st Match - Val & Me Vs Wei Jian & Yu Ting.. We won and moved on to quarter final - against a powerful team ~ Mr Soo & Anu. The outcome was 21 Vs 13 ~ we lost! The whole competition moved on; finally to the final - stiff competition between Alan & Wendy Vs Celine & Ah Nam... Eventually Celine's team won; gotten themselves a RICE COOKER!
My department - Fiona, Celine & Val
My buddy - Shirley Lee
W Wei Jian, NP Internship
MY Boss - Pauline Ang
w my partner - Val!
My left hand so aching now ...
We celebrated Mr Soo's bday at Soup Restaurant at JP... Had a wonderful dinner :)
Happy Bday Mr Soo!
Tomorrow would be a teambuilding together w CLC personnel at fort canning park - whole day events...

Sentosa
Yesterday as per normal, headed down to
Sentosa with my usual group! It's the first time I gotten myself a
Sunblock with
protection of 15! Although
Angela keep barking me to get the
protection 50 at least a block...
I choose to get the protection 15! haha...
The sun was good! I became a tester for Jun Zhang's project! They are doing a result test on 4 different sun block - 4 sections of my hand were applied with those block they got and at every interval of 10 min (for 1 hour) they will take photos and do monitoring!
Had my fair share of fun in court! But then again looking forwards to my own court soon... Let's count down together - 3 to 4 weeks time I would be getting my own court!
Looking forward to the next Saturday Sentosa Trip :-)

S ~ Day Again
Headed down to Sentosa today just like those usual saturdays.
But today's response not bad even though
Walter &
Lesle didn't turn up - coz they having exams next week!
Met up with Andre @ vivo level 3 at 10.50am and we board the express train to Sentosa Beach Station. As pre planned I would be meeting Brendon, James, Jun Zhang, Angela & Jie Yu at our usual place - Siloso Beach.
Upon arrival, Andre & I teamed up with another 2 people ( 1 guy and 1 girl) against the group of 4 guys in a 4 on 4; this match is a total of 3 rounds. I was so screwed up for this match - I haven't even warmed up and was called into the court!
Well.... the first round we lost but the second and third round we won! So overall, we are the winner! After the match, all came... We played a 3 on 3 with team 1: Andre, Angela & Me and team 2: Brendon, Jie Yu & Jun Zhang!
After which we proceeded to my favourite - 2 on 2!
The first match is Angela & Jie Yu Vs Jun Zhang & Me. The outcome is 21 Vs 14. We WON... After which Jia Hao & his friend (they are regular in Sentosa too) took over the 2 girls' place to challenge us.
This particular match is the most memorable one to me and Jun Zhang... With them leading at 20 vs 17 .. Just 1 more point for them to win the game but luck was with us! Jia Hao didn't managed to serve the ball over so it comes 18 Vs 20... I also don't know how come I so confident of blocking all their spike - I managed to block all their spikes and it lead us to 20 Vs 20. it's a DEDCUE. I managed to score the last 2 points which made us the winner - 22 Vs 20 .... A tough match yet rewarding outcome!!!!
didn't take photos because I forget to bring camera! Damn it!
We left officially at 5:30pm and settled our dinner at vivo ... I am so so tanned!
Looking forward to next saturday for the wonderful time in Sentosa with them again!

1st day @ Work - PSB Academy
I went for my
first day of work @
PSB Academy ~
QEHS Department as
Business Development Executive. My office located at
3 Science Park - #04-13 The Franklin...
Headed down to
1 Science Park in the morning for the HR Department brief and then headed back to office @ the above mentioned location.
Wendy, the Admin/HR orients me ~ introducing the various colleagues to me .... Oh ya, as per normal, I am the
YOUNGEST in my department again! My office got
2 poly students (NYP & NP) having their intership... so nice to meet up with them! Everyone keep saying that being the youngest will get to enjoy a lot of benefits... Well, we shall see then! haha....
My department head is
Ms Pauline Ang and there are a total of
4 executives under her - I am one of them plus I am the only
GUY. Each executive doing different job scope! Mine:
E Legal Service and
Administration for 1 year specialization program. For the job scope wise, I am not sure yet cos haven't go through 'training' by
Pauline. Reading the PSB Portal for the whole day for all the information and staffs related issues... It's so so much ....
Like what most fresh graduate will encounter! The first month of work really
dis-moralized - coz you no nothing at all!
We headed to
Dover Food Court for lunch - took a shuffle bus service from the bus stop to our destination... During lunch time, there would be shuffle bus services only - It's similar to THE CHEVRONS!
I was been assigned at the corner seat! But according to my boss, she say that at the end of the year, there would be a
mass change in the seating ... Rationale: I didn't ask her! I had designed my table with
10 photos & my
new Tazamia Devil cup - see below!
It's been
4 years since I started pinning down all my thoughts in life. I started this blog in
Sept 2004 and now it's already
2008! Time really flies!
Somehow or rather I wish I have the power to go back to the past and stop it at the period I want!

WALL.E
What if mankind had to leave Earth, and somebody forgot to turn the last robot off?
Academy Award-winning writer-director Andrew Stanton ("Finding Nemo") and the inventive storytellers and technical geniuses at Pixar Animation Studios ("The Incredibles," "Cars," "Ratatouille") transport moviegoers to a galaxy not so very far away for a new computer-animated cosmic comedy about a determined robot named WALL-E.
After hundreds of lonely years of doing what he was built for, WALL-E (short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) discovers a new purpose in life (besides collecting knick-knacks) when he meets a sleek search robot named EVE. EVE comes to realize that WALL-E has inadvertently stumbled upon the key to the planet's future, and races back to space to report her findings to the humans (who have been eagerly awaiting word that it is safe to return home). Meanwhile, WALL-E chases EVE across the galaxy and sets into motion one of the most exciting and imaginative comedy adventures ever brought to the big screen.
I catch this movie yesterday at Marine Square! It's really an interesting movie that will make you laugh throughout! WALL.E ...
