Yesterday headed down to Sentosa with the group of funky hot dudes and babe ~ Jun Zhang, John, Brendon, James and Angela.
Some how or rather, Sentosa Siloso was so pack! We (Angela, Jun Zhang, Brendon, James, John and myself) managed to play 2-on-2 on court.
I personally pair up with Brendon and James. The match that we played was so fruitful that we WON!
The match pairing with Brendon; was against the Volleyball Association of Singapore (2 girls). Glad that we won them (21 Vs 15).
Another interesting match was between James and myself against 2 JC students. Somehow or rather the game keep reducing and eventually we won (24 Vs 22).
Taken some photos of Angela, Jun Zhang, John & James while they played 4-on-4.

Waiting for their opponent to start.
Game in progress! Do Not Disturb!
Met up again with James, Brendon, John and Roy at Cityhall 8pm for our ORD celebration.
We basically head down a Japanese Restaurant (similar to Marche). And then we walked down to IndoChime to chilli till 12:30am. Finally took a cab back home as all of us especially Brendon are so tireless after a heavy day a Sentosa.

ORD!!!
18th July 2008 marks as an important day for me - The day that I had successfully completed my
2 years of National Service + the day I got back my
PINK NIRC!
From the Service Transcript....
Relevant Qualities and Competencies:
3SG Kong Zhi Hui Dino has performed well in his duties as an NSF Supply Supervisor in 40 SAR.
In addition to his primary appointment as a HQ CQMS, he has also done well in his secondary appointment as a RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IC.
Many times, Dino is an individual who is rarely satisfied with himself, and will find every chance to improve his job skills. His superiors are always able to entrust heavy responsibilities to him, as he is a person who can think and would seldom require any supervision or prompting by them.
It would not be an exaggeration to claim that for Kong Zhi Hui Dino, there is no goal unattainable, no vision impossible. As a terrific team player, Dino has always been a pillar of strength for his fellow platoon-mates in numerous activities on the field.
Dino's natural exuberance frequently serves as a morale booster for those around him, along with his affable nature, Dino has made him well-liked with those who have worked with him.
3SG Kong Zhi Hui Dino has served the nation well in his two year of full-time National Service. We thank him for his contributions and wish him the best of luck with his future endeavours.
My Overall Assessment:

New Image to my Room
Yesterday I got a DIY Shelf from
Ikea - I had decided to give me small cosy room a new shelf!
Loaned a wall driller from Felicia Hu yesterday night and till this morning (8.00am) I managed to figure out how to use.
From 8:00am this morning I started working on my mini project... It's so hard and tiring to drill just 4 small holes...
Took some photos when I completed the different phases...
One side of the support completed...
Protection / Waller Driller / sizes of Hammers
Finally another side of the support completed...
And then with the strength of screwing the nail - I am finally completed with the new shelf.
And the new room image :D
I feel a strong sense of achievement :D I did it all by myself!

YES, I made it!
Yes, I got a good piece of new today afternoon, I received a
phone call from
Chevrons.
YES, I made it for the post on Event Management.
Last Thursday, I headed down for an interview for the mentioned position. Both the Event Head and HR Head seemed pretty like me ~ maybe I am just too handsome... haha :D
Before I left Chevrons Office, She told me that if I am selected I would be receiving a phone call from them earliest is Friday or if not latest by this week. However since last friday till this morning, I am kinda of demotivated as till date I yet got notification from them.
However luck changes in the noon time, I got a phone from HR Department; I am needed to make a trip on this coming wednesday to sign LOA (Letter of Appointment) and to settle other issues.
Thanks to RQ who talk to me and had advice me on the job! Sir, I will heed your advice :-)
Looking forward to my first day in work! Hope it's fun and memorable :-)

Sunday Sentosa
Headed to Sentosa earlier with
Angela,
Jun Zhang,
Walter &
Brendon; my usual volleyball partners.
We played a lot of matches ~
2 on 2 within ourselves and also we play
2 game of
5 on 5 with a group of
JC students as they '
challenged' us.
Well the rule of the game;
as per normal each match is a total of 3 sets, the team won 2 sets will consider winning the match. Thank god, we won the 2 games :-)
But personally I still prefer to play
2 on 2 - it's more challenging and interesting. I shall share the 2 on 2 match between
Angela &
Me against
Walter &
Brendon :-)
Angela your turn ...
Look our focus are they!
Its OUT! 1 point for us!
What happen.... You guess it for yourself!!!

Dinner by MAJ Sima
Headed down to
ECP this afternoon to meet up with Cougar Coy ~ as promised
CPT Ryan, OC of Cougar Coy that I am joining them for a run today.
The run was kinda of demoralizing because I have been running the route over and over in races such as Army Half Marathon, Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon & Sundown Marathon.
Thanks god that I have the men (Edwin & Jeremy) from Cougar to accompany me for the whole run & It's so nice to see most of them outside :-)
Hop on a free ride from Edwin Pang's Bro to Riverside Point as I have dinner date by MAJ Sima together with the special guests ~ LTC James Teo, 1WO Ang, 2WO Ee & SSG Willie... Basically everyone with a crab in their rank except me... Haha!
It's Riverside Indonesian restaurant (Address: 30 Merchant Road, Riverside Point, #01-04). The food serving was huge and we ate till so full; ending up sitting down chatting + gossiping..
Taken some photos during the dinner:

BEST Commander for the month - May
It's SAF Day today ~ my unit having a parade to 'celebrate' this special day ~ Giving letter of appointment, letter of promotion, awards (Best Commander and Solider) to the servicemen would deserve it.
I didn't attend the parade due to some reason and I was standing at one corner watching the whole parade :-)
After the whole parade, I met up with my Superior - 1WO Ang and he presented my award which I'm supposed to collect during the parade. :-)

The Bn HQ having half day therefore my superior and I headed down to JP - he want to treat makan to congratulate me for getting the award.
